Relationships

We all have many different types of relationships with people every day and not all of these are easy. Whether you are having problems at home, school, college or work, Connexions can give you the confidential support and advice you need to deal with the issues and move on.

Personal Development Personal Advisers

Personal Development Advisers are Connexions Advisers who specialise in those annoying things that affect your life in one way or another. They could be health related problems, trouble with housing or money, and, of course, relationships issues. Basically anything that is stopping you reaching your full potential at school, college, training or work.

You can see a Personal Development Adviser at school or in the Connexions Centre. They can work one-to-one with you or help you access other support services. And it's confidential.

If you feel you can't speak to someone face-to-face about your relationship worries, do think about contacting one of the national helplines listed below:

There's also several local organisations who may be able to help - check out the specific links to the left or go to the relevant pages in this section.

If you’re a young person with learning difficulties the Connexions Cambridgeshire 4US website has some good advice on relationships.
