Southampton Boat Show

Mayflower Park, 10am-7pm. The 40th Boat Show with over 500 exhibitors & 700 boats on show. Children aged 5-15 go free with a paying adult. To book tickets, see here.

Open Evening

The Academy of Music & Sound, 28-30 Chapel Road, Southampton, 6:30pm onwards. A chance to have a look around the new centre, meet the team and get to see some of the specialist teachers perform tunes from the course material as well as getting a free guitar, drum, vocal or bass lesson.

Harefield Environment Day

11am-3pm. Lots of free activities for local residents, including environmental games, musical playground, Scrapstore, a scavenger hunt and information stands. Come along and join the fun.

Community Fun Day

Weston Shore, 10am to 3pm. A great day out by the sea. Lots of free children's activities including paddle boats, face painting, story-telling in the giant whale, climbing wall, steel band and lots of crafty ideas.

The Big Tidy Up

Weston Shore, 10am to 1pm. As part of the Big Tidy Up and World Clean Up Weekend, why not come along and help clean up Weston Shore and the entrances to West Wood? Join the team for just 30 minutes or up to the full three hours and work up an appetite for your Sunday lunch.

Millbrook Community Gala Day

Mansel Park, Evenlode Rd, Millbrook, 12.30-3.30pm. There will be African drumming, demonstrations, sumo-wrestling, face painting and much more. Most activities are free, all welcome.

Southampton Film Week

Co-ordinated by City Eye, the Film Week celebrates some of the city's diverse film culture with events across the city including screenings, workshops, speakers and a massive film quiz.
