So you may have just left school or college. If you’re not planning to stay in full-time education, you’re probably hoping to get a job. But how do you choose - and find - the right job for you?

The following pages will give you hints & tips about how to prepare for getting a job, CV's, interviews, where you can work and lots more. You can also find out about Entry 2 Employment (e2e) and Apprenticeships.

If you click on the links to the right, you will find the lists of job vacancies that are currently on display in the Connexions Centre. These change most weeks, so do keep checking back.

The Connexions Centre also offers a couple of services particularly for young people who are struggling to find work. Our CV Clinic takes place on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons - you can drop-in and work alongside an Adviser to create that perfect CV.

We also run JobQuest, which is a short programme running on the first Tuesday & Wednesday of every month (with a mock interview following within a week). You can book onto this by phoning or dropping into the Connexions Centre.
